Esparreguera Baketball Club  and Clevertask have reached an agreement on sponsorship of the senior feminine basketball team for the next two seasons. This way, the technological company, established in 2013, will become one of the club’s biggest sponsors thanks to a solid alliance effective from today and having validity until the end of the season 2021/ 22.

The team will now be called Clevertask-CB Esparreguera and will sport their T-shirts with the new sponsors logo. Clevertask supports local ladies basketball, backing gender equality in sport. “Teamwork, resilience and passion are principal values in sport and they identify completely with our company, without forgetting the importance of gender equality at all levels”, explains Pere Vandellós, CEO at Clevertask, regarding the decision of the agreement.

The bond between Clevertask and the senior feminine team is also a result of Esparreguera CB’s bid to promote ladies basketball green-and-black and for the interest and commitment of the technology company when it comes to forming part of the project in the locality of Esparreguera. Clevertask this way contributes to the improvement of its surroundings, specifically the Baix Llobregat region, where they have their main headquarters in the town of Sant Joan Despí.

President of Esparreguera CB, Joan Vendrell, highlights the bid for technology and admits he is “very grateful of Clevertask for their trust in the club and for their commitment to a project in search of consolidation and evolution of female basketball at home”.

The president at Clevertask, José Antonio Ballarín, and his CEO, Pere Vandellós, signed the agreement with Joan Vendrell, Esparreguera B.C.’s president, at the company headquarters.
